Purchase a copy of Dear Martin for distribution to students in Richmond and Columbia County. The Columbia County School Board has blacklisted the book from schools in the county. You can read about it at The Root or in The Augusta Chronicle. All copies will be distributed to high school students via a network of friends, librarians, teachers, booksellers and others. If you’d like a copy of Dear Martin, please come to the store and pick one up along with Nic Stone’s other great YA novels. Thank you for supporting this effort to battle both censorship and racism in our community.
Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (Workbook):
Discipleship That Deeply Changes Your Relationship with God
by Peter Scazzero and Geri Scazzero
This is the book we are using for the Spring 2020 Bible Study at First Pres. Included is a guide produced by the church (not pictured) to amplify our study and understanding of how Leviticus and Hebrews are interrelated.
The bundle will be available to study participants for pickup at the church on the kickoff Sunday, January 5th, 2020. We’ll be in the Commons before and after all services and during the Sunday School Hour.
